One of the busiest stars in the Tamil film industry at present, Sivakarthikeyan has his hands full with upcoming projects namely Hero under Irumbu Thirai fame PS Mithran’s direction, the sci-fi R. Ravikumar directorial, SK 14, director Pandiraj’s SK 16 being produced by Sun Pictures and SK 17 with Vignesh Shivan under the Lyca Productions banner.
Among the films that Sivakarthikeyan is attached to right now, SK 16 has seen huge developments this week already with composer D. Imman announced to be scoring the music followed by actresses Anu Emmanuel and Aishwarya Rajesh as the female leads.

With production on the film set to flag off soon, Sun Pictures took to their social networking pages to make yet another casting announcement and revealed that comedians Yogi Babu and Soori have joined SK 16.

Touted to be a rural entertainer, SK 16 is raising huge interest among fans as it marks the third occasion Sivakarthikeyan and Pandiraj are coming together after Marina and Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga.
Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan fans are in for a grand treat this month as the much-awaited Mr. Local, which also includes Nayanthara as the female lead is gearing up for its theatrical release on May 17.
