One of the most exciting films, Mr. Local, starring Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara in lead roles announced for a Summer release is being directed by M. Rajesh under the Studio Green banner with music by Hiphop Tamizha. Prior to the film’s title being revealed, production was being carried out under the SK 13 title.
Post the unveiling of the Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara film title, the excitement levels for the rom-com film shot up instantly. Now, sources close to us have now revealed that the Mr. Local title rights were initially being held by Dream Warrior Pictures from whom Studio Green later went on to acquire. It must be noted the title was one among many the SK 13 team had in mind including Jithu Jilladi.
Post the launch of the Mr. Local first look poster, there were instant comparisons with other film posters that had a similar resemblance including ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s postures from Azhagiya Tamil Magan and Jilla.
Furthermore, filming on Mr. Local had taken place from yesterday (05.02.2019) evening to late into the night at the Besant Nagar beach in Chennai with Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara as part of the shoot with the team working hard to complete production in light of the summer release plan.
