Reputed production banner Sun Pictures’ next big project in development right now is the upcoming Sivakarthikeyan starrer, Namma Veettu Pillai, under director Pandiraj’s direction. With the film set to be a rural family entertainer, Sun Pictures are looking to ride on the momentum of their previous back-to-back successes, Vijay’s Sarkar and Rajinikanth’s Petta. Earlier today, after the film’s first look poster and the title were revealed with the makers now releasing the Namma Veettu Pillai second look poster, which has the entire cast featured along with director Pandiraj’s son, Anbukarasu, too in a starring role, who can be seen standing beside Aishwarya Rajesh. He had previously starred in Idhu Namma Aalu, in 2016, which had Simbu and Nayanthara in the lead roles.

Announced for a theatrical release in September, Namma Veettu Pillai includes a huge star cast among whom are actresses Anu Emmanuel as the lead heroine and Aishwarya Rajesh in a major supporting role alongside veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, Samuthirakani, cinematographer turned actor Natarajan Subramaniam, RK Suresh, comedians Yogi Babu and Soori in vital roles. Earlier today, former Bigg Boss 3 contestant Meera Mitun too confirmed her casting in Namma Veettu Pillai, which has music by D. Imman, cinematographer Nirav Shah and editor Ruben.
