Sivakarthikeyan's debut production venture, Kanaa, directed by Arunraja Kamaraj was a success at the box office. The film had Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead role, playing an aspiring woman cricketer. The songs of the film was also a big hit among the youngsters and the family audience.

Among the five songs in the film, Vaayadi Petha Pulla was a rage on social media that garnered everyone's attention through the cute vocals of SK's daughter, Aaradhana Sivakarthikeyan. The little kid's cute and candid expressions and the innocent singing put everyone in smiles while watching the video.

The lyric (making) video of the song has now crossed over 100 million views making a history. It is not a regularity to see a Kollywood song video crossing 100 million views on YouTube. Vaayadi Petha Pulla has become the third Tamil song to cross this huge milestone after Why This Kolaveri Di (3) and Rowdy Baby (Maari 2). Due credits to be given to the song's composer, Dhibu Ninan Thomas, lyricist GKB, and singer Vaikom Vijayalakshmi for playing their part right.

Looks like there is no stopping Vaayadi Petha Pulla. Aalaporan Thamizhan song from Thalapathy Vijay's Mersal is expected to become the fourth song as it is nearing the 100 million mark. This A.R.Rahman musical composition currently holds close to 97 million views.
