Sivakarthikeyan starrer Don is gearing up for its worldwide theatrical release tomorrow (13 May 2022). The film has been in talks for quite a while now given its fun premise and most importantly its ensemble cast which includes the likes of Priyanka Arul Mohan, S. J. Suryah, Soori, Samuthirakani, and many others. Don has managed to attract both the fans and the general public alike by dropping a series of songs, teasers, songs, and trailers which has been catering to them since the very beginning.
One of the film's producers, Lyca Productions, just dropped a promo video clip from Don on YouTube today. The 50-second long video is a mini compilation of 5 promos from the movie. Each shows off Sivakarthikeyan's character reacting to the situation in a different way - a way in which a lovable don would react. The antics he puts up in the clip are sure to make the audience go in awe or respect him for his norms, values, and ideologies. The promo also features S. J. Suryah in his principal's role which he pulls off effortlessly as he does with every other role of his.
The upcoming college-based comedy film is written and directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi in his directorial debut, and produced by Allirajah Subaskaran of Lyca Productions. Sivakarthikeyan starred in the lead role and has also co-produced the film under his Sivakarthikeyan Productions banner, while Priyanka Arul Mohan, S. J. Suryah, Samuthirakani, and Soori will be seen in pivotal roles. Renowned director Gautham Vasudev Menon is also said to be making a special cameo appearance in the film. On the technical side of things, Anirudh Ravichander has been roped in to compose the music for the film, with K. M. Bhaskaran and Nagooran being held responsible for the film's cinematography and editing respectively.
