A project that has been packing in massive excitement right from the moment of its announcement more than three years back, Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming science-fiction film Ayalaan under Indru Netru Naalai fame R. Ravikumar’s direction wrapped up filming on Sunday. A 24AM Studios production venture, with KJR Studios handling the worldwide distribution, an announcement on Ayalaan's shooting getting completed is now out, with the team celebrating the wrap with a special cake, including Sivakarthikeyan, director R. Ravikumar and producer Kotapadi J Rajesh along with the crew posing for a photo. 

Taking to their social media pages, KJR Studios has said that Ayalaan has been the greatest experience and added that they next want fans to experience the grandeur and graphic extravaganza once the post-production gets completed. The reputed production banner wrote, "It’s a WRAP for #Ayalaan Partying face This film has been the greatest experience for us & we cannot wait for you to experience the grandeur & graphic extravaganza it has in store! This one’s going to be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before! Extraterrestrial alienCollision symbol #AyalaanWrapUp @Siva_Kartikeyan".

Ayalaan is a special film for many reasons and one among them is Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman’s music, with the satellite rights of the sci-fi venture bagged by Sun TV early in early 2018, even before production had kicked off. The Ayalaan first look raised curiosity among fans after it revealed Sivakarthikeyan happily lying down next to an alien, leaving many assured that the film will appeal to audiences of all ages. Sivakarthikeyan is paired opposite Rakul Preet Singh, with Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, En Swasa Kaatre heroine Isha Koppikar, veteran actress Bhanupriya, Sharad Kelkar among others cast in major starring roles. 

The enthusiasm and expectations surrounding Ayalaan has been sky-high, especially after it was earlier revealed that post-production works and visual effects are also simultaneously being carried out alongside the shooting. The film has a stellar technical crew on board among whom include cinematographer Nirav Shah, with Ruben doing the editing. Muthuraj Thangavel is in charge of the production design, while the stunts by Anbumani and Arivumani, known among fans as Anbariv, the duo behind the power-packed action sequences in the KGF films, are other major highlights in Ayalaan.
