With the Madras High Court refusing to stay the summons issued by Coimbatore police against Simbu and Anirudh for the beep song, the duo has now failed to appear in person. Earlier, a case was filed at the Coimbatore Race Course police station by the All India Women's Democratic Association for objectionable Tamil words and portraying women in an obscene manner.
