In an unexpected turn of events, actor Kravmaga Sreeram of Sillu Karuppatti fame passed away, early this morning (January 23). Sreeram is a trained expert in Krav Maga, a self-defense fighting form developed for the Israel Defense Forces. According to reports, Sree Ram accidentally fell from his house terrace this morning while performing the Kravmaga form. This extremely efficient form was introduced to Tamil Nadu by Sree Ram and he taught the form for the Tamil Nadu Police Commando Force, Chennai City Police, and other units. He has also conducted workshops for the safety of women. He made his debut as an actor with the Tamil movie, Sillu Karuppatti, directed by Halitha Shameem.

The film received highly positive reviews from the critics and audience and it was showered with so much of love by the Tamil audience. Sillu Karuppatti was an anthology film that had four romantic stories put together and Sree Ram acted in the portion titled Turtles. He shared screen space with veteran dancer and actress Leela Samson and the portion dealt with the love between an aging man and a woman. Kravmaga Sreeram's performance did not seem like a newcomer and many people felt that he looked apt for the role. However, Sree Ram did not act in any other movies, post that.
