Silambarasan TR's Maanaadu is currently in the final leg of post-production, gearing up for its theatrical release, next month. Maanaadu which was supposed to release on November 4 for the festive occasion of Diwali, has now been postponed to November 25, three weeks after the festive date. This decision was made, keeping in mind the interests of theatre exhibitors and distributors. The official announcement on the film's postponement was made yesterday (Oct 18) and it opened to a mixed reaction from the fans. Meanwhile, a new update on Maanaadu has been known and here is what the development is.

Premgi Amaren who has played an important role in the movie has completed dubbing for his portions and he took to his official Twitter page to share about the same. Sharing a picture of him from the dubbing suite, Premgi wrote, "Finished Maanaadu Dubbing 🔥 🕺🏻 Thanks a lot @vp_offl @SilambarasanTR_ @sureshkamatchi ❤️ ❤️ ❤️". Simbu, who has left for Mumbai for the next schedule shoot of his upcoming film Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, has already completed his dubbing formalities for Maanaadu.

Produced by Suresh Kamatchi, Maanaadu has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja who is currently busy with the re-recording works of the film. Maanaadu is directed by Venkat Prabhu and the blockbuster filmmaker has taken up a very interesting concept as the core idea of Maanaadu. The Tamil audience will be witnessing the idea of time loop through Maanaadu and it is going to be interesting to see how VP has approached and treated the script. Maanaadu has SJ Suryah playing the key antagonist and his faceoff against Simbu is said to be one of the biggest highlights of the movie.

Maanaadu's star cast also includes Kalyani Priyadarshan, Karunakaran, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Y Gee Mahendran, Daniel Annie Pope, Udhayaa, Manoj Bharathiraja, and others.
