Shanthnu Bhagyaraj took to his Twitter space this evening (September 4) to share the news about the death of a make up man named Babu. Shanthnu sounded very emotional about Babu’s demise as he was the one who put make up for him even before entering the film industry. He also added that he worked with Babu just three weeks before for an ad film. Shanthnu tweeted, “The 1st ever make up man to put make up for me b4 I started as an actor #MakeupBabu anna… One of the best make up artist in the ad-film industry… Unseen hero behind d camera Worked with him 3weeks back also for an ad shoot Life is unpredictable #RIP”. Details regarding the death of Babu are yet to be known. Galatta Media expresses its deepest condolences to Babu’s family and prays for the departed soul to rest in peace.

On the professional front, Shanthnu Bhagyaraj is keenly waiting for the release of Thalapathy Vijay’s Master in which he has played an important role. Shanthnu is expecting Master to give him the much needed breakthrough and let us hope it happens. Shanthnu is also doing quite a few films as a lead hero and he is slowly gaining momentum in his cinema journey. He has Raavana Kottam with director Vikram Sugumaran of Madha Yaanai Koottam fame and the title look poster of the film was released recently. The poster received a good response and the film has got good expectations among the film buffs. It is expected to bring out the performer inside Shanthnu and let us hope that things fall in place for him.

He also has Murungakkai Chips, which is touted to be a romantic comedy entertainer. Directed by debutant Srijar and produced by Ravindar Chandrasekaran of Libra Productions, this film features Athulya Ravi as the female lead. Veteran director and Shanthnu’s father, K Bhagyaraj will be seen in an important role in this film, alongside Yogi Babu, Reshma Pasupuleti, Jaangri Madhumitha and others. The first single from the film, ‘Edho Solla’, composed by Dharan Kumar received a very good reception from the music lovers. Shanthnu will also be seen playing one of the leads in director Sudha Kongara’s portion of the Netflix anthology film which is expected to be released very soon.
