Shanmuga Pandian, son of Vijayakanth, who made his debut through the 2015 action movie Sagaptham, had his next release after 3 years, in 2018 which was Madura Veeran. His next movie is called Mithran, directed by Boobalan, former associate of director Siruthai Siva. Post that we have heard from our close sources in the industry that Shanmuga Pandian is to star in a yet to be titled project, helmed by newcomer Kasi Varman. This movie is to be bankrolled by SN Rajarajan under the banner of K Productions. The pre-production of this movie is going on in full swing and soon to go on floors.
Notably, SN Rajarajan's K Productions have co-produced Harish Kalyan's Pyaar Prema Kaadhal. Also, K Productions were the distributors of Baahubali 2 in Tamilnadu and acquired the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for Enai Noki Paayum Thota for a record price, way back in 2017.
Coming back to Shanmuga Pandian's Mithran, this movie features Ronica Singh as the leading lady and Vamsy Krishna of Thadayara Thakka fame. Music director Arun Raj of Thadam fame will be composing tunes for Mithran with lyrics penned by Madhan Karky. Editor Anthony L Ruben will be handling the cuts and Sathish will be choreographing the moves.
