Director Selvaraghavan has been quite active on social media these days and we’ve been seeing him post photos and videos on a regular basis. He also posts some inspiring quotes on his Twitter page. That said, Selvaraghavan has now posted a new funny video in which we see him in the Captain Jack Sparrow (Pirates Of the Carribean) avatar. Yes! With the help of the faceapp editing, Selvaraghavan’s wife Gitanjali has morphed Selvaraghavan’s face with Jack Sparrow and one should say that it looks cute and nice. A light hearted and sportive Selvaraghavan shared the video on his social media page and wrote, “This is what my wife @GitanjaliSelva has done with my face”. This face edit video has got a good reception from the fans. Selvaraghavan and Gitanjali are a happy couple who are anticipating the birth of their third child.

On the work front, Selvaragahavan’s next directorial venture will be starring his brother Dhanush in the lead role and this movie is expected to be bankrolled by Kalaipuli S Thanu under the banner of V Creations. Selvaraghavan is currently said to be busy working on the script. Details regarding the film’s story or genre is yet to be known and we will have to wait for a few more weeks to know about it. The shooting of this untitled film is expected to begin when Dhanush completes his current commitments. The fans are also eagerly waiting for the release of Selvaraghavan’s long delayed horror thriller, Nenjam Marapathillai, starring SJ Surya, Nandita Swetha and Regina Cassandra in the lead roles. The film’s release has been stalled for a long time now due to financial reasons and let us hope that the fans get to see it as soon as possible.

Not to forget that Selvaraghavan will also be venturing into acting this year with the film, Saani Kaayidham. The director behind some of the best films of Tamil cinema will now be featuring in front of the camera and the fans are totally excited about his acting debut. Selvaraghavan will be sharing screen space with Keerthy Suresh in Saani Kaayidham, which will be directed by Arun Matheswaran of Rocky fame. Produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment, Saani Kaayidham will have cinematography by Yamini Yagnamurthy and editing by Nagooran. The film’s shooting is expected to begin after the pandemic.
