Naga Chaitanya and comedian turned hero Sunil are teaming up for the first time in a film, touted to be a remake of Tamil super hit Vettai, starring Madhavan and Arya.
As per reports, the makers have almost finalised actress Hansika opposite Naga Chaitanya, but the search is still on for Sunil's heroine. Some say that most of the top heroines are not accepting the role opposite Sunil as they are still considering Sunil as comedian and not as hero.
Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the remake and Dolly of Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame is the director. Sunil will play an introvert cop, originally enacted by Madhavan, while Naga Chaitanya will essay Arya's role as a jobless lad. The film is expected to start rolling after Naga Chaitanya completes Autonagar Surya.
