After a short gap, director-actor S.J. Suryah is back with Isai. The film will have him as the main lead; newcomer Savitri plays the female lead. Apart from all these, Suryah is also making his debut as a music director in this film. The film is shot extensively in Chennai, and deep forests in Kerala and Karnataka.
