Our all time favourite director and cinematographer, Balu Mahendra is back with his next directorial venture, titled Thalai Murai. The film is being produced by M. Sasikumar and the music will be composed by maestro Ilaiyaraaja.

The director has already completed major portions of the script, and he has requested Sasikumar to do an important cameo in the movie. Initially he hesitated but Balu Mahendra has managed to convinced him and now the actor seems all geared up for it.
