Sangitha plays don in Thambikkottai

Actress Sangitha is known to be an actress who loves challenging roles and has proved it in Uyir, Pithamagan and recently in Dhanam. The actress is now all set to play the role of a female don Beeda Pandiamma in her upcoming flick Thambikkottai, probably the first heroine to play such a role.

Directed by Ammu Ramesh and produced by R.K. Suresh (Balasundaram's close relative) for Thambikkottai Rajeswari Films, Thambikkottai has Narain and Poonam Bajwa in the lead roles.

Thambikkottai is based on a true story that occurred�in a town located between Thambikkottai and Pattukkottai. Poonam Bajwa dons the role of a plus 2 student while Prabhu and Meena have substantial roles.

Also in the cast are Kausalya, Aarthi, M.S. Bhaskar, Santhanam, Ganja Karuppu, Manobala, Alex, Rajendran, Crane Manohar and Muthukalai. D. Imman is composing the music and Kannan handles the camera.
