Leading Bollywood actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra made a grand entry together into the world of cinema in 2012 with the romantic action film, Ishaqzaade, which turned out to be a blockbuster, with fans and critics giving a double thumbs-up for their power-packed and intense performances. The two were once again cast in the 2018 romantic comedy, Namaste England, with the stars now all set to be seen together on the big screen in the highly-anticipated Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, which is scheduled to hit theatres on March 19.

Directed by Dibakar Banerjee, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar was initially announced for an early 2020 release until those plans were pushed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic, which brought the entertainment industry across the country to a complete halt, including the postponement of the films coming out on the big screen. Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra's third outing together, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, has been carrying tremendous expectations among fans, especially after the film's first trailer released last year received a huge response, including those in the entertainment trade showing an interest for the duo's chemistry.

Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar is also director Dibakar Banerjee's big comeback venture after his 2015 film, Titli, while he also directed one among the four segments in the 2018 anthology film, Lust Stories. Produced by the DBP banner with Yash Raj Films handling the distribution, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar has been described to be a black comedy film, with music by chart-buster composer Anu Malik. As the film is nearing its new release date, promotions have picked up, with YRF on Tuesday releasing the much-awaited second Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar trailer, which once again packs in a punch with loads of action and humor and, shows Arjun and Parineeti on the run from a crime scene, with the police hot on their chase.

Apart from Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra leading the cast, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar also includes Pankaj Tripathi, Archana Puran Singh, Kanwaljeet Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Ananya Khare, Sanjay Mishra, Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, Jaideep Ahlawat, Amrita Puri, Rahul Kumar, Karan Singh Chhabra among others in vital roles. The upcoming film also has a stellar technical crew among whom include Anil Mehta for cinematography, while Bakul Baljeet Matiyani and Paramita Ghosh have handled the cuts on the editing front.
