Mollywood actress Bhama, who is busy shooting for her upcoming Sandalwood project Ambara, said that the Kannada and Malayalam industires are not bothered by actresses' weight, while Tollywood only prefers slim heroines.
The actress plays a modern woman in the film in Ambara, directed by Prakash. She pairs opposite Yogish in the film. She said that she is happy that Sandalwood offers her performance oriented roles.
The actress is also currently busy with M-town projects Kanneerinu Madhuram and Husbands in Goa. She is expected to play the lead in a Telugu project as well.
The actress said that she had stopped exercising as in the Malayalam movie Husbands in Goa she plays a typical homemaker and she felt that she needed to put on some weight for the role.
