For pretty lass Sanchita Shetty, Engitta Modhathey is a film very close to her heart. For the first time, she will be portrayed as a village belle in this entertainer. In a recent press meet, the actress said that she was rejected by many directors due to her modern looks. "After Soodhu Kavvum, I have received only roles that are modern, many times I was rejected. I really thank director Ramu Chellappa for providing the platform to try something new," she said.
The film also features Natarajan Subramaniam and Parvathy Nair. It is co-produced by Eros International with RV Films.
