One more heroine joins Vijay Sethupathi's next biggie!
Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi recently won the Best Actor award at the recently held Indian Film Festival of Melbourne in Australia that was attended by celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Tabu, Gayathrie, Thiagarajan Kumararaja, and others. Sethu also recently confirmed that he is in talks for his debut Bollywood flick, sharing screen space with Aamir Khan for the Hindi remake of Forrest Gump.
As for Kollywood, the talented actor has an array of interesting projects that include Sangatamizhan with director Vijay Chander, Laabam with director S.P.Jhananathan, Kadaisi Vivasayi with director Manikandan, Tughlaq Durbar with Delhi Prasad, VSP 33, and the untitled biopic of Sri Lankan cricketer Muttiah Muralidharan. The latest update is that actress Sai Dhanshika will play a very important role in Jhananathan directorial, Laabam, produced by 7C's Entertainment.
She will play the character of Asha in this film which features Shruti Haasan as the female lead and Jagapati Babu as the antagonist. Dhanshika who is known for her roles in films like Paradesi and Kabali, has already worked with Jhananathan in one of his previous films, Peraanmai. Laabam has music by D Imman, cinematography by Ramji with art work by Selvakumar. Stay tuned for more updates.
