Payal Rajput who debuted in RX 100, has a couple of Telugu and Punjabi movies in her kitty.. This movie will mark her Tamil debut. There was a buzz in the industry that the makers of Arundhati were planning to make a sequel and that Payal Rajput were their foremost choice.
And the actress is now furious at the makers as they have issues an official press statement stating she is officially on board for their movie, Arundhati 2.Supposedly the statement provided by the producer Koti Tumula read that Payal will be the leading lady in the sequel to the 2009 blockbuster film, Arundhati that starred Anushka Shetty.
Sources close to us tell us that the RX 100 heroine was approached for the same part a while ago, but she was only interested at the surface level. Interestingly Payal Rajput hasn't heard the narration nor met with the makers of Arundhati 2.The fact that the makers had failed to consult the actress prior to issuing the press release has infuriated her.
Apart from a couple of Punjabi and Telugu movies, she would also be seen in one of the three lead roles in the Tamil horror thriller movie, Angel, starring Udhayanidhi Stalin and Anandhi.
