Kalyana Samayal Saadham is a 2013 romantic comedy, featuring Prasanna and Lekha Washington in the leads, written and directed by RS Prasanna. The movie released on December 6th to critical acclaim, which then later on got remade in Hindi in 2017 as Shubh Mangal Savdhan directed by RS Prasanna himself. And now, there is an official announcement that his production company, Eklavya Productions in association with legendary director K Balachander's Kavithalaya Productions, will be producing and show running a Thamizh web series. It would be directed by young newcomer, Praveen Raghupathy. Check out the tweet!

Shubh Mangal Savdhan was both critically acclaimed and a hit at the box-office. And in the month of May, a sequel to it was announced and that it would primarily focus on homosexual relationships. The movie will feature Ayushmann Khurrana, and will be produced by Aanand L Rai.
