RRR has become the best performing film in week one of the post-pandemic era. SS Rajamouli's pan-Indian magnum opus has been obliterating all post-pandemic box office records with impressive figures and numbers at both the domestic as well as international box office. The epic period action drama shows no signs of slowing down as it has created history at the box office with a global gross of Rs.710 crores in just 7 days, which is among the highest ever of all time. The film is competing globally with Baahubali 2, as it has whizzed past all the lifetime collections of Indian films.

Lahara Music, who purchased the audio rights of the film as well as distributed the soundtrack in all of the South Indian languages, took to Twitter to make this exciting announcement by posting a still from the movie and its GBOC (Gross Box-Office Collection). RRR is a fictional epic period action drama based on the lives of freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. The film finally hit the screens on March 25 after having its release delayed and postponed multiple times due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. The film brings together two of the biggest leading actors of Tollywood, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, for the very first time. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played the roles of Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, respectively. While it was written and directed by S.S. Rajamouli, RRR was produced by DVV Danayya of DVV Entertainment on a humongous budget of over Rs.550 crores. Other than the aforementioned actors, the movie also stars Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, and Olivia Morris.
