Released earlier this year in February, RJ Balaji’s debut as a hero in the political satire film, LKG, went on to become a critical and commercial success with the makers now releasing a deleted scene, which shows the star speaking about how Hindi is not the national language of India and that there are four languages in south India.

Directed by K. R. Prabhu, LKG incidentally also marked the debut of RJ Balaji as a writer with the film going on to receive a huge response from fans across Tamil Nadu. The film also had Priya Anand as the female lead followed by Nanjil Sampath, the late JK Rithesh, Santhana Bharathi, Mayilsamy, Ramkumar among a few others in vital roles with Leon James’ music under the Vels Film International and distribution done by Sakthi Film Factory.

LKG revolved around RJ Balaji paying a character named Lalgudi Karupaiah Gandhi, a ward councillor who becomes a MLA after contesting in a by-election after going up against several obstacles during the course of the film. With Priya Anand and Mayilsamy lending him ample support and guidance, there were several laugh out loud moments throughout, which went on to receive claps as well as huge whistles from the fans upon its release.
