Directed by Gautham Ramachandran, Richie has opened to rave reviews both in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The movie has already grossed a solid 1.31 crores in Kerala according to trade reports and for a single day collection, it’s considered a great number.

The film is produced by Yes Cinema and is a straight Tamil film for Nivin Pauly. Yet, it managed to become a hit in Kerala even though a major part of the cast is of Kollywood actors like Natarajan, Lakshmi and Kumaravel.
