Rendavathu Padam is an upcoming film being directed by CS Amudhan, featuring Vimal, Aravind Akash, Richard, Vijayalakshmi and Remya Nambeesan in the lead roles. The director, who wants to keep everything about the film a secret, says that it is not a spoof comedy, like his previous superhit film Thamizh Padam. He is all set to surprise the audience with the content of Rendavathu Padam!

He added,"There is nothing called as a trend in filmmaking. Good films from different genres have always co-existed as audiences are hungry for content. Films such as Pizza and Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom belong to two different genres and yet were successful."

The director believes that, it is the content that decides the fate of a film at the box office, but not some trend.
