Producer and Director Shakti Chidambaram had filed a complaint against the Sun Network Group chairman Kalanithi Maran, stating that he had entered into an agreement with the latter for screening Vijay's movie Kaavalan on the network for Rs. 5.5 Crores, but that he had not been paid the complete amount despite the movie being screened! Based on this a case had been registered against Kalanithi Maran and his associates, under different sections of the IPC! However, when the case was heard by Justice Arumughasamy at the Madras High Court, he directed the Police not to arrest Kalanithi Maran and others, until further hearing. The next hearing is scheduled for December 18! Is this a temporary relief, or permanent? Stay tuned for more updates!
