A project that has become one of the most talked about among fans, the Tamil remake of the smash hit, Arjun Reddy, in Telugu, starring ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram’s son, Dhruv Vikram, in his debut role, is being produced by Mukesh R. Mehta’s E4 Entertainment banner.

Dhruv Vikram has now been paired opposite Bollywood heroine Banita Sandhu, who will also be making her debut in Tamil cinema inthe Arjun Reddy remake, which will include music by Radhan with plans for a theatrical release in June.

That said, the makers of the Arjun Reddy remake have now officially announced that acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran will be part of the film and making it his comeback to Tamil cinema after 7aum Arivu in 2011.

It must be noted Ravi K. Chandran’s son, Santhana Krishnan, is also at present working on the Hindi Arjun Reddy remake, titled Kabir Singh, starring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

This is undoubtedly a rare feat in Indian cinema where both father and son are working simultaneously in remakes of the same film in different languages.
