Actress Ramya Pandian became an instant sensation across Tamil Nadu after her famous terrace saree photoshoot last year. She made her acting debut in the 2015 film, Dummy Tappasu and followed it up with notable roles in Joker and Aan Devathai. Her power-packed performance especially in the 2016 National Award-winning film, Joker, fetched her praises from all corners, with the actress then making a strong impression during her appearance on Star Vijay's TV reality show - Cook With Comali, while also participating in Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru earlier this year. A highly popular name among youngsters on social media, the actress has since gone on to land opportunities in a venture under Suriya's 2D Productions banner and a role in reputed producer CV Kumar's next. 

Having said that, Ramya Pandian has now issued a statement against those who are impersonating her on Twitter using fake social networking profiles and ids.Taking to her Instagram page, the actress cited that the Twitter handle "@Actress_Ramya" was not authentic, which she has since reported to the social networking giant for wrongful impersonation. She further went on to issue a clarification stating that her official account on Twitter is "@iamramyapandiyan" for which she is awaiting a verification from Twitter with the blue tick mark. She then concluded requesting her followers to report fake accounts in case they come across any that spread vile and political agenda. 

Ramya Pandian's Instagram note is as follows: "I would like to bring to your attention that @Actress_Ramya is not authentic and hence has been reported to Twitter for wrongfully impersonating me. I would also like to clarify that my official account @iamramyapandiyan is waiting for verification with blue tick mark from Twitter. If there are accounts that spread vile news and express political agenda, I urge you to please report the same. Thank you for your support!"

It is to be noted that this is the second occasion in less than a year that Ramya Pandian has informed her followers of such fake impersonations on Twitter. The actress had released a video statement too last year on such fake accounts and requested fans to report them, while also extending her gratitude to all those who had lent her support.
