S. S. Rajamouli's RRR opened to positive reviews from the critics, public and the general audience instantly. It is considered to be power packed show from the very beginning up until the end. The film attracted countless people as it was released in five languages - Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu. The film also features the coming together of two of the biggest names in the Telugu film industry - Ram Charan and Jr. NTR. Other than the obvious reasons like great story, performance and what not, all these aforementioned factors put together contributed to the beneficial of the film.

RRR doesn’t have the benefit of a sequel but its market was still ripe for the taking as the film came with the stamp belonging to SS. Rajamouli. RRR has shattered several day box office records including those made by Baahubali 2. RRR's Hindi version had released in theatres last Friday with an opening of Rs.20 crore. It went on to collected ₹15 crore on Tuesday, taking its five-day total to ₹107.59 crore. Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the five day-collection of the film's Hindi version and wrote on Twitter, "#RRR feveRRR grips mass circuits... SupeRRRb hold... The film managed to bring in more cash in 5 days than Baahubali ever made during its entire run. Rajamouli's magnum opus became his 3rd film to bag Rs.100 crores. It will also be seen crossing the all time collection made by 2015's Baahubali in just one week. After the release of Sooryavanshi, 83, Pushpa, Gangubai Kathiawadi and The Kashmir Files, RRR became the sixth film post pandemic to surpass Rs.100 crores in the box office.
