RC 15 marks Shankar's directorial debut in Telugu and has also been announced to be coming out in Tamil, with the filmmaker shuffling his dates to shoot the upcoming film alongside 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan's magnum opus, Indian 2. There is a huge buzz surrounding the upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual as Shankar has now entered the elite list of those rare filmmakers for being a part of two films that are in active stages of production at the same time and it sure shows how the magnum opus director is pulling the challenge off effortlessly.

Ram Charan is paired with Bollywood sensation Kiara Advani in RC 15, while the film's supporting cast features names like Jayaram, Anjali, Sunil, and Naveen Chandra, and S. J. Suryah, who has been cast as the antagonist. The film also has an incredible amount of talent and highly-skilled technicians on board starting with chart-topping composer Thaman. S for the music, followed by Tirru and R. Rathnavelu handling the cinematography, while Shameer Muhammed is taking care of the editing, with the dialogues written by Sai Madhav Burra.
