Rajni will return in 10 days: Dhanush

On Tuesday, superstar Rajinikanth's son-in-law Dhanush said that the actor is recovering well at a Singapore facility and will be back in Chennai in 10 days.

"He is responding well to treatment at the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre. He should be back in Chennai in a week or 10 days," said Dhanush.

"Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre gave him fantastic treatment. They made him fit to travel so he could get better treatment. The doctors have identified the root cause and it is not an irreversible condition. The superstar is eating well, watching a lot of movies and in a great mood to shop. If he doesn't return after 10 days, that will be because we would be on a family vacation," he added.

Dhanush also requested fans to not believe rumours. "He has not undergone a kidney transplant. Soon there will be a statement from the superstar himself," he informed.
