It is a well-known fact that 'Superstar' Rajinikanth’s popularity is unmatched across the nation.
The upcoming action gangster drama film, Kaala, will see Rajinikanth under Pa. Ranjith’s direction and produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar films banner.
Slated for an April 27 release date, Kaala has Rajinikanth paired opposite Bollywood actor Huma Qureshi as the female lead and Nana Patekar as the antagonist with Santhosh Narayanan for the music.
Although Rajinikanth’s Kaala has only one competitor for now on April 27 in Tamil in the form of the Karthik-Gautham Karthik starrer, Mr. Chandramouli, two other big films in the Telugu film industry have now backed out from coming out on the same weekend.
Earlier it was announced the Allu Arjun starrer, Naa Peru Surya, said to be a psychological thriller film would come out on April 26. However, the makers of the film have now backed out of the said date and have decided to bring it out on May 4.
On the other hand, the Mahesh Babu starrer, Bharath Ane Nenu, was planned for a release on April 26. The makers of the political drama film have now advancd the release date to April 20.
As of now, we know the release date of Kaala stands on April 27 and it is believed the Telugu version too will come out on the same date considering Rajinikanth enjoys a massive fan-following in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
