The 2019 Lok Shaba Elections held in seven phases from April 11th to May 19th and the vote counting happened on May 23rd throughout the country. Narendra Modi's Bharatiya Janata Party pulled off a historic win winning 303 seats out of 543 constituencies storming back to power for the second consecutive period. BJP-led National Democratic Alliance won a total of 352 seats increasing the majority. The Indian National Congress party won 52 seats and the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance won a total of 91. Other parties and their alliances won 99 seats.

Following the mammoth victory, Narendra Modi was appointed as the Prime Minister on Saturday by President Ram Nath Kovind. The President is to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other members of the Union Council of Ministers at 7 pm on May 30th at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Big names around the country are expected to be present at the grand event and we hear that Narendra Modi has also invited Superstar Rajinikanth to attend the event.

Rajinikanth finished the first schedule of his upcoming biggie Darbar with AR Murugadoss a few weeks back and he is set to join with the team on May 29th for the second schedule. The added news is that Rajinikanth will be leaving to Mumbai today (May 27th) to join with the team of Darbar and will be travelling to New Delhi on May 30th to attend Narendra Modi's swearing-in ceremony.
