Superstar Rajinikanth will be receiving the Dadasaheb Phalke Award tomorrow (October 25) and ahead of the big occasion, the legendary actor issued an official statement. Rajinikanth mentioned in his statement that tomorrow is a very important day in his life for two reasons. With one being Dadasaheb Phalke Award, the other one will be the launch of his daughter Soundarya's new social media app called Hoote. Soundarya Rajinikanth and her team have developed a new voice based social media app called Hoote and it will be launched tomorrow by Rajinikanth through his voice.

Twitter spaces and Clubhouse were some of the voice apps that garnered wide attention during the lockdown and it looks like Soundarya and her team have developed an application that has the potential to reach the masses. Rajinikanth's official statement read, "Tomorrow is an important occasion for me with two special landmarks. Second, my daughter Soundarya Vishagan, by her independent efforts has pioneered the making of a very useful app for people, called HOOTE and she is going to introduce it to the world from India. People can now express through their voice their thoughts, wishes and ideas just like they do in writing in any language of their choice. I am very happy to launch this innovative, useful and the first of its kind the Hoote App in my voice. With best wishes, Rajinikanth".

On the professional front, Rajinikanth's highly anticipated Annaatthe is all set for a mega grand theatrical release on November 4 marking the festive occasion of Diwali and the film is sure to take a huge opening at the box office. Annaatthe is directed by Siva of Viswasam fame and has music composed by D Imman.
