Rajinikanth calls Jayalalithaa
Rajinikanth, who was discharged from the Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre in Singapore yesterday, called Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa to congratulate on her massive victory in the elections.
According to sources, soon after reaching his apartment in Singapore, Rajnikanth called Jayalalithaa on her phone. He also told her that he would return India in a month and a half. CM Jayalalithaa expressed her happiness and wished to see him after his return. Rajinikanth's wife Latha also thanked the Chief Minister for her kind enquiries about the health of her husband when he was hospitalised.
Sources also revealed that the actor's entire family -- wife Latha, two daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya and sons-in-law Dhanush and Ashwin Ramkumar -- are in Singapore.
