Touted to be a family entertainer laced with comedy and emotions, Raja Manthiri is directed by Usha Krishnan, a former associate of Suseenthiran, who had worked in films like Pandiya Naadu and Jeeva. Madras actor Kalai plays the lead role while newcomer Shalin is the leading lady; also in the starcast are Kaali Venkat, Bala Saravanan, Nadodigal Gopal, Saravana Sakthi, Kayal Perara, Super Good Subramani, Vaishali, Meenachi, Rindhu Ravi, Raja Pandi and Anandhi.
Music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran, camera is handled by P.G. Muthaiah (who is also co-producing the film under his banner PG Media Works) while V. Mathiyalagan and R Ramya have produced the film under Etcetera Entertainment and Auraa Cinemas is releasing it. The post-production works of this film have been already wrapped up and the official announcements pertaining to release date would be made shortly.
