Radhika becomes the heroine of this superstar's next

Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal is basking on the success of his recent political film Lucifer has began the shooting of his next film Ittimani: Made in China. The film kick-started today, April 24th along with a grand pooja celebration. The venture will be bankrolled by Anthony Perumbavoor under his banner Aashirvad Cinemas.

Mohanlal has been making the headline pretty much every day, yesterday with the election day queue standing controversy and today with the movie launch event of Ittimani. It must be noted that Mohanlal had gone to the US on a vacation.

Ittimani will be directed by Jibi and Joju and Mohanlal will be playing a Thrissur native in the film. Some important portions of this film will be canned in Singapore after this schedule is over. Radhikaa Sarathkumar has been roped in to play the female lead in the film.

She took to her Twitter space to share a few words about the film - “Proud and honoured to share  screen space with @Mohanlal in this new film,and more proud when he said “thanks for accepting this movie, cannot do this script without you,humbled sir(.sic).”
