B. Nagi reddy was a Telugu movie producer and extensively known for setting up Vijaya Vahuni Studios at Chennai, which was back then Asia's biggest film studio. His youngest son, B.Venkatarama Reddy passed away this afternoon, 12 May, at 1pm.

He was 75 years old & is survived by his wife B. Bharathi Reddy, son Rajesh Reddy & daughters Aaradhana Reddy & Archana Reddy. His cremation will be done tomorrow, from 7.30 to 9AM at  Nesapakkam.

The Vijaya Productions has produced films like Enga Veetu Pillai, Nam Naadu, Uzhaipali, Nammavar, Tamirabarani, Padikadhavan, Venghai, Veeram and Bairavaa in Tamil. Apart from Tamil, they have also produced films in Telugu and Hindi.

Their recent production venture is Makkal Selvan Vijaysethupathi's Sangatamizhan. The filming of the Sangatamizhan has just begun and its first look was released on May 7th, written and directed by Vijay Chandar.

In the Indian Cinema Centenary Celebrations – 2013, Mr. B.Venkatarama Reddy, on behalf of Vijaya Productions, received the SIFCC award from Ms.J. Jayalalitha, The Chief Minister-Tamil Nadu.
