Upendra is one of the highest paid actor in the Kannada cinema industry and is married to Priyanka Trivedi aka Priyanka Upendra, who is also an established actor in Bengali, Kannada and Telugu cinema. She has also featured in a couple of Tamil films like Ajith's Raja and Vikram's Kadhal Sadugudu as the female lead in the 2000s. Now her new movie Devaki, named after her character in the movie, has its trailer released on 27th June. This thriller is directed by Mummy- Save Me fame, Lohit H. Check out the trailer!

From the likes of trailer, Devaki played by Priyanka Upendra, loses her daughter, Aaradhya of 10 years old and the rest of the story revolves around finding her. The trailer seems to be thrilling, involving a few shots of human trafficking and the narration that suggests that people are more focused on phones these days. Actor Kishor is essaying the role of a cop who is dealing with the case.

Devaki was earlier named as "Howrah Bridge", but the title was changed by Lohit after the filming. The child artist who plays Aaradhya, is none other than the daughter of Upendra and Priyanka Upendra.

Produced by  Akshay R.C and Ravish R.C, under the banner RCS Cinemas, Devaki has Nobin Paul's music with lyrics penned by Madan Bellisalu and edited by C.Ravichandran. Guruprasd Kashyap has written the dialogues for the movie and H C Venu has cranked the camera. The movie is releasing on July 5th.
