2Prithviraj Sukumaran's next film, Bhramam is all set for a grand release on October 7 and the film will have a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video. However, the OTT release will be applicable only for the Indian audience, while the overseas audience will have to watch the film in the theatres. Bhramam is the official Malayalam remake of the critically acclaimed blockbuster Hindi film, Andhadhun, starring Ayushmann Khurrana. Raashi Khanna plays the female lead, reprising Radhika Apte's character, while Mamta Mohandas will be seen reprising the character played by Tabu in the original.

Earlier today (September 28), the makers officially unveiled the trailer of the film which looks really impressive and neat. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the world of Bhramam and its characters and from what we see, a quality thriller is on the way. The film will trace the journey of a blind pianist that undergoes several ups and downs, filled with unexpected twists.

Prithviraj's charming screen presence and natural performance are one of the major highlights of this trailer and he is well supported by other prominent actors like Unni Mukundan, Raashi Khanna, Mamta Mohandas, Shankar Panicker, Surabhi Lakshmi, Sudhi Koppa, Sudheer Karamana, Ananya Nair, Vaisala Menon, Jagadish Kumar, Shine Tom Chacko, and others. Raashi and Mamta look great and both of them seem to have done their respective parts well. The trailer has opened to a highly positive response from the fans and film buffs and it looks like Prithviraj's success streak will continue.

Bhramam is directed by acclaimed cinematographer Ravi K Chandran who had earlier directed the Jiiva starrer Yaan. Produced by Viacom 18 Studios in association with AP International, the film has music composed by Jakes Bejoy, while the cinematography and editing departments are headed by Ravi K Chandran and Sreekar Prasad respectively.
