Versatile actor Prakashraj is going to host the 100 years Film Festival Programme at Chennai. Since Prakashraj is one of the actors who is fluent in all the southern languages, he has been the first choice to host the festival. The inauguration also gets grand as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa has agreed to inaugurate the event. The event will take place from September 21-24, 2013. Film Fraternity who have excelled in their respective industries like – Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam will participate in the festival. The event will be volunteered by the Tamil Film Producers Association, Federation of Tamil Nadu Distributors, Tamil Nadu Theater Owners Association, the Association of South Indian Actors, Tamil Nadu Directors Association and South Indian Federation of Film Workers Association. Free screening of classics of all the four languages is already happening in the theatres like Sathyam and Abhirami.
