Devi 2, the sequel of 2016 hit venture Devi is directed by AL Vijay who also directed the first leg of the venture. Stars Prabhudeva and Tamannaah were retained from the first part and the movie also has Nandita Swetha, Kovai Sarala adding more star power. Sam CS is composing music for this film, which has cinematography handled by Ayananka Bose. After the initial delay, Devi 2 is set to hit the screens on May 31st worldwide. With the release ahead, the makers are busy with the promotions and the movie is right on track for a notable release this time.
We all know that RJ turned actor Balaji who played a supporting role in Devi will also be seen in Devi 2 as well. As one of the promotional posters stated that RJ Balaji will be playing a prominent role in the movie. Following the poster, RJ Balaji came out and revealed that he just made a guest role in the movie and will be seen in just two scenes in the film. In another tweet, RJ Balaji also revealed that he will be appearing for a maximum of 5 to 6 minutes only.
The news is a surprise for many as RJ Balaji has his own fan following and there is a set of a crowd that marches towards the theatres just for the actor. It is unknown how this news might affect the opening for Devi 2.
