Prabhu Deva's long-awaited action drama, Pon Manickavel will finally release on November 19 and we are six days away from witnessing the film. Pon Manickavel will have a direct OTT release on the Disney Hotstar platform and it is going to be interesting to see how the film fares among the audience. Pon Manickavel will mark Prabhu Deva's first outing as a police officer and the film is expected to be a solid action entertainer. Produced by V Hitesh Jhabak under the banner of Nemichand Jhabak, the film features Nivetha Pethuraj as the female lead and has music composed by D Imman.

Directed by AC Mugil Chellappan of Kandaen fame, Pon Manickavel has late director J Mahendran and Suresh Menon in supporting roles. The song has been treated in a sensuous manner as the video song captures the intimate romance between the lead pair. Nivetha Pethuraj looks beautiful and she anchors this video song with her screen presence. The chemistry between Prabhu Deva and Nivetha Pethuraj is neat.

Madhan Karky has penned the lyrics for the 'Uthira Uthira' song. D Imman is known for delivering super hit melody numbers and 'Uthira Uthira' will have an important place in that list.
