Leading Telugu actor Prabhas is all set to be seen next in the period love story Radhe Shyam opposite Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo heroine Pooja Hegde directed by Radha Krishna Kumar. Post the astounding success of Baahubali and the stunning opening for Saaho, it came as a big surprise for fans when Prabhas announced that he would be doing a romantic film set in Europe during the 1970s, with the early visuals featuring him alongside Pooja Hegde creating massive excitement. Produced by Vamsi and Pramod under their UV Creations banner and being presented by UV Krishnam Raju's Gopi Krishna Movies Private Limited, Radhe Shyam, a pan-Indian venture, has been made as a bilingual in Telugu and Hindi, while being dubbed in Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. 

Announced for a worldwide theatrical release on January 14, 2022 on the festive occasion of Sankranthi, promotions for Radhe Shyam are underway, with the film also featuring Justin Prabhakaran composing the songs for the Telugu version, while the Mithoon, Amaal Mallik and Manan Bhardwaj trio have churned out the tunes for the Hindi version. Justin Prabhakaran has also composed the songs for the dubbed Tamil version, including the overall film's background score. So far, promos and a teaser for Radhe Shyam have come out, with the makers on Monday releasing the film's first single track titled 'Ee Raathale' in Telugu, including its Tamil version titled 'Aagoozhile', which have been sung by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Harini Ivaturi. 

Radhe Shyam's story is set in Europe and revolves around Prabhas, who is essaying the role of a fortune-teller named Vikramaditya, while Pooja Hedge has been cast as Prerana, a princess. The film's ensemble star cast includes Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sathyan among others in major supporting roles, with Manoj Paramahamsa for the cinematography, production design by R Raveendar and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
