Leading Telugu actor Prabhas became an overnight sensation across the country after the blockbuster success of his Baahubali films and has since been attached to a number of upcoming biggies among which includes Radhe Shyam opposite Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo heroine Pooja Hegde. Produced by Vamsi and Pramod under their UV Creations banner and being presented by UV Krishnam Raju's Gopi Krishna Movies Private Limited, Radhe Shyam directed by Radha Krishna Kumar is gearing up for a massive Sankranthi release on January 14, 2022. With post-production works on the period romantic drama currently underway at a brisk pace, the makers on Saturday on the occasion of Prabhas' birthday released the much-awaited Radhe Shyam teaser introducing his character Vikramaditya in the film.

The Radhe Shyam teaser starts off with a voiceover narrating certain important events in the film until Prabhas gets revealed in full glory. We see the voiceover explaining certain life-altering incidents surrounding Prabhas' Vikramaditya and his motives to supposedly exact revenge against those who have done him wrong. The Baahubali star looks dashing when he is finally shown and has an intense look in his eyes, with a few montage shots also showing the grandeur of the making and the large scale events that will shape up in the narrative. The Radhe Shyam teaser doesn't reveal anyone else other than Prabhas and is perhaps the major USP considering the focus is on his character in the film.

A pan-Indian venture, Radhe Shyam's story is set in Europe revolving around Vikramaditya, a fortune teller essayed by Prabhas and Prerana, a princess being played by Pooja Hedge. The film also includes an ensemble star cast featuring names like Sachin Khedekar, Priyadarshi, Bhagyashree, Murli Sharma, Sasha Chettri, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Sathyan among others in major supporting roles. Radhe Shyam also has a talented technical team on board among whom are Manoj Paramahamsa for the cinematography, production design by R Raveendar and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao.
