Porinju Mariam Jose, the recently released Malayalam action thriller film is directed by Joshiy and written by Abhilash N. Chandran. The film stars Joju George, Nyla Usha, and Chemban Vinod Jose playing pivotal roles. The movie also has Rahul Madhav, Vijayaraghavan, and Sudhi Koppa in supporting roles. The original songs and background score for the film are composed by Jakes Bejoy.
Porinju Mariam Jose is set in the 80s. Porinju, the village butcher and the hero, to the entire village, has an unfulfilled love story with Mariyam, the village money-lender. Jose and Porinju are friends thick as thieves. An altercation during a church procession leads to quite an ego tussle and makes way to violence and tension.
Porinju Mariam Jose released across India on August 24th and movie opened to some positive reviews from fans. With the movie running at the theatres, the makers have released a new teaser of the film. Here is the new video,
