The ban imposed on Pooja Gandhi's Abhinetri has been lifted by the High Court. The lower court ordered to stop shooting the film in regard to the petitions filed by writer Bhagya Krishnamoorthy, who claimed that the film is based on her book and was used without her approval. Pooja Gandhi went down with tears as the film has already wrapped up 95% of shoot. But, now she would be happy after the ban has been lifted.
Abhinetri marks Pooja Gandhi's comeback venture and also it is being produced by her home banner. The film is said to be the biopic of yesteryear actress Kalpana.
