Pokkisham to hit theatres on August 14

In the race for release, Cheran's Pokkisham has beaten Dhanu's Kanthaswamy by� a week. While Pokkisham's release is confirmed on August 14, Kanthaswamy is likely to release on August 21 synchronising with its Telugu version Mallanna.

Vikram's blockbuster movie will have 20 screenings in Chennai with around 400 prints in Tamil Nadu alone. Reports say that the movie is still to pass the Censor test. Producer Dhanu is hopeful of a U certificate but the speculation is for a U/A certificate.
