Social networking sites are full of buzz that the release of STR Podaa Podi has been postponed. Galatta.com got in touch with the production team and they have confirmed that the film will be a Deepavali treat for the fans, as per schedule. The film is already screened to the Censor officials and the result is expected soon. The team is very confident that the film will clear the formalities with a clean U certificate. Podaa Podi is produced by Gemini and Padam Kumar and as the title suggests, the film is an energetic rom-com. It is reported that Shobana will play a prominent role, that of Vijayalaxmi Sarathkumar’s dance mentor, in the film. Debutant Vignesh Shivan is the director and Dharan has composed the music.
